body measurement...

i was curious of how body measurements are measured, and what better way to find the answer than to look out in Wikipedia?

so, this is what i found through wiki:

In human body measurement, the three sizes are the circumferences of bust, waist and hips ; usually rendered as three sizes: xx-yy-zz in centimeters or inches. The three sizes are used mostly in fashion, and almost exclusively in reference to women. In many demographics in the western world, the ideal sizes for a woman are said to be 36-24-36" (90-60-90 cm), but many different people and cultures with different views of female beauty would prefer different measurements.

there is no picture at all.. so i still wasn't quite sure about the body measurements...

and see the word BUST, that i bolded and make it real huge so u can read it in the passage??

i'm have no idea what BUST means.... deep...

but nevermind, i figured that i could find the answer in Yahoo! instead, where i can just search for the images of BUST...

SURPRISE SURPRISE.... this is what i found....

bust, is it the one above? or the one at the bottom?

i couldn't believe it... so i double checked what BUST means in dictionary.com, and the defination it gave was:

bust1 [buhst] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –noun
1.a sculptured, painted, drawn, or engraved representation of the upper part of the human figure, esp. a portrait sculpture showing only the head and shoulders of the subject.
2.the chest or breast, esp. a woman's bosom.

Again, i found a word that i wasn't quite sure of..... BOSOM???

not wanting to spoil my eyes with the almost porno graphics again, this time i search in dictionary.com first for the meaning of BOSOM....

bos·om [booz-uhm, boo-zuhm] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –noun
1.the breast of a human being.
2.the breasts of a woman.
3.the part of a garment that covers the breast.
4.the breast, conceived of as the center of feelings or emotions.
5.something likened to the human breast: the bosom of the earth.
6.a state of enclosing intimacy; warm closeness: the bosom of the family.

OMG!!... y can't they just use the word BREAST or BOOBS at the first place??? the language we use everyday?.... use those deeeeppp words pula... ish...
