this is about me, who attended a fund raising activity today....

the venue and the setting

it's a beautiful saturday morning, and what on earth motivates me to dread my big ass to the place that i least wanted to step my foot onto (school) during weekends?

this is cuz, my dear friend, SS, is the organizer!!

so being a good friend, as usual, i came and gave my fullest support! (morally lah, not financially...heheheh)

i arrived around 11.30 a.m... the scene was pretty lau juak, but not to the extend where u can't move and breathe...

clueless on what lies ahead, or even what to do, i grabbed my camera and went camera whoring all around the college, cuz i somehow can't think of anything else but blogging... hehehe

not missing out the staffs who gave out a helping hand on the event

being a lone ranger, as usual again, i literally just sprung on whoever i saw, and snap pictures with them...

i must say, i'm very impressed, on how a small corridor of our college can be turned into a carnival extravaganza.....

there's so much to do, ranging from buying foods and drinks, to participating in all sorts of games like throwing darts, mini bowling, and even roller skating...

the RM 5 i spent on to quench my thirst, when i can get 2 of this at a roadside stall

and when u're attending charity fund raising events like this, u can't expect the stuffs on sale here to be dead cheap...

a true charity organization hoping to cash in through paper aeroplanes.... come on, u gotta be kidding eh?

cuz, the stuffs here are pretty dead expensive...

i bought a coupon for RM10, and it can only get me 2 stuffs....

the other true charity organization which i bet will earn more than the previous one

one being a bubble milk shake....(with more ice than water)

see? even a small corridor can turned into a skating ring!!!!

and being a kiam siap freak, after spending the RM10, i decided not to indulge myself on anything else, but to blend myself into the crowd instead, (which is F.O.C) and snap tons of pictures in exchange of throwing darts and dropping pins....

as i am alone, it feels kinda odd for me to stand there looking like an idiot, and i feel so pai seh to interrupt my friends who were in the organizing committee....

they even brought ponies/horses to the fund raising event!!!

but wat to do ah???

cuz hey, animals have kind hearts too, ok? =)

with no money and no friends, i entertained myself by kaypo-ing in various booths, watching the performances, and saying "Hello" and "How Are You" every now and then....

more crowd-ier as the time passes

though it sounds pathetic, but its an experience, and i managed to enjoy myself though...

BRAVO, SS!!! u showed me girl power!!!, and proved to me what we, the-skipped-one-year students are capable of!!

i'm so proud of u girl!!! rock on!!!

the weather is freaking damn hot, which means big business to those booths selling beverages...

the hip hop dance by the fei1 yue4 group... never heard before, but a very, very good dance show

but despite the heat and the sweat, nothing can stop the crowd which consists of students, lecturers, staff members, outsiders, kids from having a total blast!!!

if u look closely at the previous pic, u can see the 2 lovebirds pak-tor-ing behind the group's performance...

cuz well, we're killing two birds with one stone!! =) (but mind you, no casualties involved at all in this event)

remember the girl that skates very well?, i'm just behind her, wayyy behind her... and know why she roller skates well? cuz she learnt ice skating before... NO WONDER....

and to be able to enjoy and participate in this outing again is something that i'm looking forward to very much....

plus, it's during events like this that i get to socialize with all kinds of (crazy xD) people, and experience new kinds of experiences......

but we, being a kind hearted human being, we pity the summer students who ALREADY had tons of mcds' in the states; therefore, we sacrifice our tummy's space initially for char koey teow, for french fries and burgers instead....

and what FOOD has to do with anthropology?? you may ask....



ah moi had no idea too.... cuz as far as i'm concern, our job is only to eat,eat and eat....

my friend had a birthday bash in redbox karaoke the other day.....

nah... just an excuse to hide the fact that i can't sing, aaaannnnnnnddddd me, sitting next to the birthday girl who sings like superstar doesn't make things any better for me.....

the outing was kinda boring for me, (sorry!!!!) due to my outdate-ness in mandarin songs, and their reluctant-ness to sing ABC (rock) songs...

but i stayed for a while, wishing and celebrating the best with the bday girl, before leaving them with the excuse of having a mid term test the other day...

and the next time i hit the karaoke, i'll make sure to drag ABC songs' fans along, or at least LYNN, i'm dragging u along....

so its been almost a week since i got my 'S' (tattoo)...

and this is how my 'S' is progressing..

see the redness around my 'S'? dun worry, i'm not having allergies...



just that the outer layer (scabs) of the skin is peeling off, and SOOOO, it's god damn itchy....


i cannot scratch ON my 'S', (the tattooist actually asked me to slapped it if i felt itchy... so picturing me slapping my hips all day long.... 0.O) therefore i have no choice but to scratch around it instead....

other than that, my ass, no no no.... my 'S', is doing very fine.... =)

i showed to lynn and a couple of friends during our regime, and this is what lynn said to me...

lynn: "hey, can seriously consider ur sis's suggestion..."
me : "huh? u mean doing 'S.Z.E.M.A.Y' the whole stretch?"
lynn: "yea..."
me: *giggles* "why?"
lynn: "so it looks like a belt, then can save money on buying one... *laughing*"
me: "*laugh* "wh-hahaha-hat??"
lynn: "yeah! and imagine this, when you're wearing a bikini, it'll look as if u're wearing a belt, and eventually will become a fashion!!"
