spiderman, the third

the cartoon version of spiderman....

our friendly neighborhood spidey is back.... the third installation of the comic turned mega box office movie officially arrived at our shores this MAY....( i just love MAY, the whole month dedicated to me... eheheh)

the 3D spiderman we see on movies...

the nerdy peter parker, in the scenes where he became an egoist and devilish, he actually looks kinda hot...

and although i am not a huge spiderman fan, i still catch it in the cinemas, as my kia-su-ism doesn't want me to become outdated in any conversations later on....

i missed out SPIDERMAN 1, and courtesy of my cousin's son's bday party, i got to watch spidey 2 for free.... =)

quoted as the BIG THING for the summer action jam-packed movies line up, i kinda have high expectations of Spidey 3, as duh, technology should have become way much cooler than what i watched in spidey 2 eh?

but no, the 2 and 1/2 hour movie turned out to be some sort of disappointment, well, it is, at least to me.....

sorry to all super spidey fans out there... but here's y it doesn't make it to my ah-must-watch-2nd-time-list:

• it's more than 2 hours long, so it's either going to be awesomely good that makes u go gah-gah from the beginning, or it'll make u so boring to the extend that u feel like getting out of the cinema real desperately, and in this case, it's the second one that makes me feel blurggh about the movie...
• it's an action hero movie.... and super heroes, is just not that appealing to me... especially guys tucked in tight latex outfits.... instead of admiring them, i actually feel like bloat out laughing at their skimpy suits... HAHAHAHAH
• they just hate not to include romance scenes... i have no problem with a couple kissing and making out in a movie, but hello!! it's a children's, action hero movie-lah!! why include this kinda scenes???
• they are trying to include some humor into the movie, but it failed... failed big time, as a matter of fact....
• the first 2 hours of the movie.... *yawn*
• on certain parts of the movie, i think their acting skills should have been better....

the list can go as far as the great wall of china, but i wouldn't want to risk being boycott and sabotage by u spidey fans out there...

but i can't deny though, the technology and graphics in this movie, are indeed.... spectacular.... just see spidey swinging across the street with his web, his body moved like rubber, and the fact that he can't die even countless massive punches from sandman.... [very fake] but hey, it's purely for entertainment mah.... there won't be any joy if there's no fiction or action stunts that'll take u beyond ur imagination....

spidey in black.... i wonder whether spidey will turn pink in SPIDERMAN 4?? whoa... that! i have to see... ekekekke

the conclusion? spidey 3 gets 3 stars out of 5, based on my rating... =)

there will be spidey 4 i guess, where mary jane will officially become mrs. spiderman....
but in the meantime.... WATCH OUT for the itsy bitsy spiders out there, cuz we don't need another spider hero anymore..... (or another movie made dedicated to you)

watch out for the lizards as well, cuz we already have our own CICAK MAN....


but if you want to become an animal-inspired super hero so much, maybe u can try getting stung by a bee.... BUmble bee, to be precise...
