music appreciation...

"me without music, is like a body without blood..."

blah.... i can still survive without music, but my life will be a very miserable one-lah....

i am a huge music fan.... and i listen to alllll sorts of music....

but mostly western and local, and some indonesia and local bands' songs....

feel weird that i miss out the chinese singers?... nah, i'm not discriminating or look down on them, but chinese songs, just give me that kinda feeling..... i feel sad when i listen to chinese songs... why? i don't know... -_-"

and here, just to share with you all, some of my favorites singers......

i'm like, the absolute biggest fan of her!! =) again, cuz of her kick ass attitude!!

kelly is very impressive too... and she will always be my american idol!!


how can u not fall in love with JT? my love, my love, my loovveee....

they rock, big time...she won't be loved, but they will... and check out their latest album!!!

and don't forget peter pan, they are from indonesia, and they rock too!!!! and they sang mungkin nanti, which may light the bulb on who they are...

how can i left out D'cuzzy? they are our true penangites idols.... with their hokkien rap, it truly reflects out penang identity!!!

and taking this advantage, i'm promoting my friend, lynn's album as well.. the fundamental mentalities....

and although i am a big fan of music, there are, some music that i just don't have the genes to appreciate them...

one of them is....

norah jones.... not that i Hate her with a capital 'H'... opps... but hey, i still love her when i can't sleep though...

i have many more likes and dislikes... but that's not my point...



you see, i'm taking MUS 105 this semester, it stands for MUSIC APPRECIATION...


i truly love music, but is it enough for me to actually appreciate music?

well, it depends....

in this course, it's not about the pop and rock, rhythm and blues, hip and hop....

but it's this kind of music we're talking about....

*yawn*..... no turntables? no drums??

and when the lecturer mentions about idols.....

who? who? kelly clarkson? katherine mcphee? carrie underwood? taylor dicks, i mean higgs?

this is the REAL idol that she is talking about...

alllahhh.... beethoven

and when we're told that we'll attend concerts, it's not linkin park that we'll cheer and sheer...


but instead this is who we will probably see on stage....

having no music background, (other than half year hot hot chicken shit guitar lessons), i have no idea about music theories, at all...

don't ask me about beat, meter, or freaking freto.... i have no idea....

so, this subject is going to be, *ehem* challenging...

and ah, part of our assignment will be attending concerts.....

i'll definitely on cloud nine if we were to watch maksim perform.....

or even see the suave il divo guys singing.....


but i dare not put any high expectations though.....
