SHREK!!!!!!

SHREK the first, was introduced into my world in the year 2001...

It's some sort of a mixed up, kinda dysfunctional story, where you can find all sorts of fairy tale characters in it.....

if you missed out all those fable tales' characters when you were younger, fear not, as you'll be able to find them all here....

Snow White, Pinocchio, Gingerbread man, the Wolf, Three Little Pigs, Cinderella, 三八-rella....

the storyline, was simple....

it's about Shrek who was on a quest to save Princess Fiona that were prisoned in a tower guarded by a lady dragon, in a deal with Lord Farquaad to get his swamp back....


In the process of sending Princess Fiona to Lord Farquaad, Shrek had fallen in love with Princess Fiona, not knowing her dark little secret....


Though a beautiful princess by day, Fiona will turn into an ugly (but kinda cute) ogre at night, due to a curse. Through a series of events, they both get together, eventually, and they live happily ever after......


simple eh? sounds familiar? just like another fairy tale i read when i was young eh?....

but along the movie progress, i had tons of laughter, had a few ahhhhhhs, and picked up a few lifelong lesson while enjoying the movie....

and how can u not love to hate, hate to love the character of donkey??? =)

it was sooo good, that i watched it over, and over, and over, and over again.....

and i rarely watch movies over and over again, so it shows how good Shrek 1 really is....

i watched it so may times, that i can almost recite every single line of their dialog...

and of course, being a Shrek fan, how can i ever miss out Shrek 2?


it was released in 2004, and i can't recall much of the storyline, and as i couldn't find any pirated disc for this one, so i can't watch it over and over again....


this time, they added a new member into shrek's gang.... Puss!, in boots.....

and yes, Shrek and Fiona are still very much in love....

fast forward to now, 2007, i had been anticipating Shrek 3 for so long....


and though i'm not the first one who rushed into the cinema to catch it, but of cuz, i will never miss this one out....

cuz, hey! JT is in it! as the not so great, and nerdy Artie!!


and how can i not see the much talked about babies in it?


and i just watched the re-run of shrek one on tv, and though i know what is going to happen the next moment, it still never failed to make me go gah gah, and laugh out loud of the jokes i heard a zillion times before...

as for the Shrek the third, i kinda have high expectations in it, and hope that i'll not be disappointed la...

i'll write the review after i watched it, but in the meantime....

don't go get confused and mix up our friendly green ogre with the aggressive, gorilla sized, green, incredible hulk.....
they are from different species, k?
