this, my dear sua pah gao(s), is called the chinese rice dumplings, a.k.a BAK ZHANG.....

yesterday was the day where we celebrate the zhang festival, to remember, erm, someone la....

this is when almost every housewives 20 years back will get together, and make these dumplings together.....

today, why the hassle to make it yourself when the zhangs are commercialized and can be bought anywhere?

but being a very traditional-minded chinese, my grandma still make her own zhangs for this festival....

and me, being a super duper fan of bak zhangs, this is the festival that i'm very looking forward to, as i hadn't eaten any zhangs for like, the past half year.....

after the festival, my house went from no zhangs at all, to a whole pile of zhangs on my dining table....

and do check out my menus for today:

breakfast:
zhang; without egg yolk, freshly heated from cooker

lunch:
2 zhangS; not heated, both without egg yolks, one with CILI PADI, the other extra nuts

appetizer:
zhang, again, without egg yolk, not heated, without mines, i mean CILI PADI

dinner:
don't worry, i had normal dinner =)

*WHO ON EARTH PUTS CILI PADI IN ZHANGS???? one, one and only, my grandmother..... it's like eating a ticking bomb, not knowing when it'll explode...*

OH MY FREAKING GOD!!!!!

i'm not going to eat zhang again, till the day before i leave....

and a lil update with what's going on in ah moi's life lately.....

• my sis is leaving this weekend, so it's buzy 'bonding' with her....
• my dad twisted his wrist, which down-grades my status to be his driver.....
• i got myself a new specs, which makes me god damn dizzy, and giving me sore eyes and making me damn tired... T___T
• Academics Awards presentation just over; don't worry, and sabar,k? i'll post bout it tomolo ...
  
• tests and midterms all coming up, so it's back to study mode....
• less than two months till leaving date, and i think it's time to start buying, and packing...
• though i had been eating a lot lately, but still i think my hot babe regime is working; cuz i find many of my pants a bit too *EHEEHEHEM* loose.... (buahahahha)

so i guess pretty much that's it, no glitz and glamor....

i'm just an ordinary girl living in this world, trying to make it as colorful and meaningful as possible, =)
