hhheah, as if who doesn't know that today is valentine's day?
but this blog has nothing to do with any lovey-duvey stories... (sorry to cut your steam, but what to do, no one is taking a second look at ah-moi here...)
it's about how freaking time had passes, and today is officially half a year since i stepped my feet on American soil...

a lot of interesting things had happened for the past 6 months:
- for the first time in my 17 years of life, i am actually surrounded in a deserted college town where ang mohs are more than asians...
- i am exposed to the american education system, and busted the myth that it is itsy-bitsy and sap sap sui A to get a 4.0 GPA here... hell no...
- i roomed with someone for 2 months, survived her sloppiness and arrogance, found an opened condom after she moved out...

- i survived negative 0 temperatures, and anyday hotter than 0 degrees Celsius is now consider warm to me....
- made new friends... =D

- finally get my lazy ass off the bed and chair, and land myself a job at the cafeteria, where i met different people, and every working day is a new experience to me....
- experienced civilization after staying at kampung for god knows how long, during my first trip to Chicago! babeh!
- i went, i saw and i conquered the statue of liberty, and NEW YORK babeh!
- visited other universities - Purdue, Northwestern, New York Uni...
- discovered new american bands that i never heard before in Malaysia.. (yes lynn, i shall highly recommend it to you!)....

- i think... i improved my malay more than i improved my english...
- the rest.... is history....
looking back, i had achieved quite a lot of stuffs in the past 6 months...
still, i have much much more that i have yet to accomplish:
- discover the other parts of america!
- go to it's neighbours - canada, mexico, maybe even brazil!! =D
- make more ang moh friends, hang out with them more often....
- being able to speak american-ish english... as in with the american Sllaanngg... yahh man!
- the list goes on and on....
and just when i think america is not like as bad as i think...
i was wrong...
