while waiting for my bubur....

procrastination hit me as usual, and so instead of doing something productive like lets' say.... studying? , i did something even more productive ---

CHECKING OUT, a.k.a stalking my friends...

ever since facebook came into my life, i rarely visit my friendster account, other than to check my comments (what happened to the term "testimonial"???) and some forwarded messages that end up in my trash....

trust me, you'll do the same once you started using facebook.com....

and so, while waiting for my bubur to cook, i decided to pay my old friends in friendster a visit....

friendster hasn't change much since i dumped it almost a year ago; it still has the same old layout, typical boring applications...

and owh, how can i miss out the la-la-ness of friendster?


all thanks to the frenzy trend that's going in Japan and Taiwan, local girls now have become act-cuters wannabes....

not that I have particularly anything against people trying to look cute in photos and post them into sites like friendster...

no, seriously, i have nothing against them....

especially if they actually look cute and somehow pretty like them...


those, are acceptable.... cuz well, they do look cute, where their cute looks are professionally done and their paycheck actually depended on their "OH-MY-GOD i can't believe i'm so cute looks"......

BBBUUUUTT.... when some people are just trying too hard to follow the trend......

due to certain privacy issues, I had to censor some portion of the photos, though it may not make any difference... -_-"

they had just officially turned Friendster.com into la-la-ster.com.....

AAANNNDD.... if taking these kinda self-portraits doesn't make them look foolish enough, they have to use some chinese-bimbo-ish broken english....

"miii n my flen..", "hapi-hapi dayz..." , "frenz 4eva, mizz mii mizz u guyss ooo", "act-cuterz...hahahah" , "smily oo"....

hey, no one is perfect, in fact my english is waaay from being qualified as good....

but wtf? this is not broken english... this is ignorance + trying to sound cute english!!!

okay, it's acceptable to try to act cute if you're still in form 3, but if you're older than that, i got 2 words for you....
