WIMBLEDON, England - Venus Williams won her fourth Wimbledon title Saturday, then basked in cheers on the court that always seems to inspire her best tennis.
Slam title. She also won Wimbledon in 2000, 2001 and 2005.
At No. 31, Williams became the lowest-ranked women's winner in Wimbledon history. Plagued in recent years by injuries that sent her ranking sliding, she rediscovered her championship form this week at the All England Club.
though i watch tennis matches all the time, this time, is the first time where i seriously watch from the beginning, till the end....
they may look pretty on the outside, but inside those shoes, countless blisters....
i never thought Venus would be this good....
and not forgetting to mention the unknown MARION BARTOLI, whose skills cannot be looked down upon to....
she certainly has caught my attention now....
cuz all these while, the only female tennis players that i really take note of were Sharapova, Henin-Hardenne, Serena Williams....
wonder what makes marion feels so sad?
but to be honest, the previous matches of them that i watched is mainly because they are famous, pretty and have a certain style in fashion....
and ah... not to mention their orgasm scream every time they hit the ball... (especially Nadal and Sharapova.... hahahahahaha)
hey, who would cry if you're playing against venus with her powerful shots?
but this time, i watched the match purely because they really have the talent, and i tell u....
and not to mention the killer serves?? 125mph???? O.0!!

next time? the long rivalry between federer and nadal.....
and will roger brag the championship for the fifth time?
i can't wait....
but in the meantime, i'm gonna polish my very rusty tennis skills.... =)
