things we do when we were stuck in bloomington

unofficial day 1 - friday:

basically, just chilling, laze around, keep myself away from books and cook.

unofficial day 2 - saturday:


explore kirkwood when it is -9celsius out there. and yes, we walked. discovered cafes, eateries, and shops that we never knew existed. bloomington is quite bloom-y after all =D

unofficial day 3 - sunday:

gym, oh yes. an outlet for the unnecessary food intakes for the past..... i mean ever since i came to the states. and what a better way to spend the rest of the day wal-martin'. wal-mart is fun, i am still amazed on how many cheap stuffs that we can get there. and owh, how can i forgot - we made ice cream mochi. yes. some google-ing and rice flour, corn flour... u get the point. were successful, but there's a lot more to improve. annnd, how can i miss this out. i drove for the first time in months. xD

official spring break day 1 - monday

tried our hands in creating our own kopitiam - we feel like having half-boiled eggs, toast with teh tarik for breakfast. end up having HARD boiled eggs, toast with peanut butter and jelly, and teh tarik. owh well, at least one of it was successful.


head to the mall to get our haircut. shopped around while waiting for our turns, which was like 40 mins. the hairdresser was friendly, but woman, you do not know how to cut hair. yes, there's a place called Malaysia, and it is an independent country. we had the tallest building in the world, you know? hair cut was awful at first sight, but started to like it when i stare long enough at the mirror. liked it even more after i (my friend) dyed it.

sorry mom, but it turn out nice though, not lala-ish at all... =)

ended the day with some guitar hero-ing, and watching 13 going on 30 for the 1st time. glad that i din;t spent money to watch it in the cinema lassst time.







pretty happenin in b-town after all eh?

many days to kill, but we already have plans lining up....
