it suddenly struck me on how far i have come in my life....

i am officially 18 years old.

how was my celebration?

but here is how it happened:

just when i was thinking on where to invite my friends for dinner at night, i got this message:

As you guys know we will participating for the IU World's Fare Performance on Nov 8. As for now, here are the names of members who already confirmed to participate:

Our first practice will this evening at 7:15pm. I already booked a room at Hper. I doubt many people know the room, so we will be meeting at the Main Library (Lobby) - we will walk together to the HPER building.

I really encourage others who their names are not listed above (especially Najla') to participate for this performance. Or at least come this evening and give a try. I need AT LEAST 6 girls because I alredy choreographed a dance for at least 6 girls. We definitely need more guys!! If you feel not comfortable dancing, at least participate as Bunga Manggar Holder like Ikrom. Hope to see most of you this evening.

and so, my plan to invite my friends for dinner was ruined. It was a good thing as a matter of fact, since i don't wanna spend money eating outside when i have piles of meal points for me to use.

so i went to the library 7.10pm (i'm punctual as usual), and at the same time, i was supposed to meet my other friend to pass her the book that i borrowed....

20 minutes later, with a very fake excuse on why my friend was late, i have a sense that there is something wrong (i saw amalina walking around with boxes of pizza)....

then the moment of truth: they asked me down to the cafe, and THEY THREW A SURPRISE PARTY FOR ME! =D

the whole night was just great, cuz i never thought my birthday would be anything like this. I kinda predicted my birthday will suck this year (i'm away from home and friends and stuffs...) so i had a huge party last year, in order to compensate my predicted-to-suck birthday this year....

but instead, i had a great, unforgettable 18th birthday! =D

and believe it or not, my umbrella, as my birthday present (i bought it since it's been raining like mad; it's so expensive that i dare not indulge myself in other things....>.<)

but of cuz, all good things come to an end....

after the what seems to be a fantasy birthday celebration, i was brought back reality with:

homeworks
assignments
dance practices
IU world fair preparation....

why can't good times last longer? xS

and so, i have been very busy lately......

will definitely do so when i am free....
