puck furdue....

no, i'm not meaning anything bad here....

IU and Purdue had been rivalries for like, ever since before i was born??

but anyway, being malaysians, we do not care which uni you're attending, and during occasions like buka puasa, we always come together and celebrate....

even though it means renting a car and siting through a 2 hours long journey to get to the destination...

and so it goes....

everyone is excited when we started the journey.... WHEN we STARTED the journey..

including ah-moi, despite that i have tons of homework to worry about.... T_T"

OFF WE GO ON THE AMERICAN HIGHWAY!

along the road...

we see nothing but....

ENDLESS STRETCH OF CORN FIELDS!

we, who never seen sooo many corns before...

could help but stare, and perhaps looking for the sign of Superman

this, everyone, is a high school... wanna compare with ours in Malaysia? DON'T...

more and more corns again...

the sun is setting down, and no sign of Purdue yet...

and so, nothing to do in the car...

i took out my camera/handphone..

and started....

but still no sign of Purdue...

and it's already time to buka puasa

and just when we are about to give up...

WE REACHED PURDUE!!

arriving Purdue with the shopping malls along the road welcoming us is something that makes me feel sad....

both Purdue and IU are in Indiana state, we both have the same degree of ulu-ness....

BUT HOW COME PURDUE HAS MORE SHOPPING MALLS?


but anyway, the campus is almost the same as mine, as a matter of fact, i kinda like my uni compared to theirs, probably becuz i have adjusted myself to the environment here...


ok... so we went for the dinner, how's it?

it feels like... MALAYSIAN... =)

after almost a month++ not eating malaysian food, and not stepping a foot out of Bloomington, this trip is definitely a BLAST!!

but of cuz, nothing completes a perfect trip more than a descent visit to the SHOPPING MALL!!


the funny thing is, the mall is exactly like the mall at my place, and yet, i shop here instead of in bloomington... herm....

lynn!!!!!! seee?? Victoria Secret!! when got clearance sale i'll get something for u!!! hohohohoh

and before i leave, how can i miss the opportunity to meet up my friend who is in Purdue?

though it is just a short meeting, but it is definitely fun and memorable one.....


and i hate this kind of 'reunion' with friends, where we meet up, and we have to separate again...

the place where we spent our night at...

after packing our stuffs, it's time for us to say goodbye, and head back to where we came from...


we wanna get some Krispy Kreme on the way home...

but unfortunately, it was closed....

and so, before going back to IU, we stopped by at Denny's instead....



and when i came back to my room, i'm more excited to show u the hoodie i got for myself, than getting enough sleep and rest....


that's pretty much about the short, but fucking awesome trip of mine to Purdue...

sorry that the entry was a brief and short one.. i am really tired, and i had been staring at the computer screen for the past 8 hours....
